Ruben Hentzschel

Ruben Hentzschel, the Chief Operating Officer at Worthwhile, excels at translating the CEO’s vision into practical reality and ensuring the Worthwhile’s smooth day-to-day operations. He collaborates closely with the CEO to develop and implement strategic decisions that drive success.

Ruben’s career journey began with starting two businesses while still in school. After earning his business degree and spending two years in accounting, he moved into software development, creating solutions for the insurance and travel industries. He then grew the customer base of a business travel SaaS solution from 100 to over 2000 companies. After immigrating to the US from Germany, Ruben held roles as CFO/COO at a conveyor system manufacturer, VP of Operations for Follett Software’s Data Warehouse unit, and VP of Product Management and Business Development at Follett School Solutions. Seeking more balance between his professional and personal life, Ruben joined Worthwhile.

He and his wife have two teenage boys and a dog, and he cherishes their family time together. In his leisure time, Ruben enjoys his digital movie collection and relaxing by the beach.
