Managing Director, Venture Studio

At Worthwhile Venture Studio, Stephanie Cheney blends business acumen, software engineering expertise, management experience, and leadership skills. Her diverse background in startups, business ownership, and now as Managing Director, enables her to deeply understand and empathize with all areas of business development. Years as a software engineer have broadened her skill set, equipping her to turn “big vision” ideas into practical solutions. In her role at Worthwhile Venture Studio, she fosters a culture of creativity, resilience, and excellence, transforming bold ideas into successful ventures.

Stephanie started as a marketing manager for a startup right after college, gaining experience in marketing, client relations, operations, and HR. She then transitioned into a business owner with a successful photography business. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she moved into software engineering, working as a frontend engineer for a global fitness equipment company. She joined Worthwhile in 2022 as a frontend engineer, quickly advancing to a dev team lead role and eventually to Managing Director of Venture Studio.

In her free time, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, including their two dogs. As the proud parents of two teenage sons, they keep busy! They currently reside in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where Stephanie continues to build an unstoppable team for Venture Studio.
